Preorder The Vale of Seven Dragons
First off, THE VALE OF SEVEN DRAGONS is now up for preorder in most places! Note that some of the UK sites (Waterstones, Blackwell's, etc.) will get the links in the weeks ahead. VALE is out April 7, my first new book this year, and preorders = support and indication that booksellers should stock the book! I've made a whole new fantasy universe with this book and its two forthcoming sequels, and I hope you love it. More about the book, with links for preordering:
Final TOC for Women of the Weird West Anthology!
I can't even describe how stoked I am to have a short story in the Women of the Weird West anthology (Brigid's Gate Press), edited by KC Grifant, because look at this table of contents (TOC) roster!
Wow! My story is titled "The Stinger of Hellbinder Gulch," and I have to say that it is one of the spookiest, most atmospheric stories I've ever written. I can't wait to read all the stories in this book, out in June. Learn more (preorders and cover reveal forthcoming):

Six BSFA Award Nominations!
In case you missed it, I have been longlisted 6 times (!): 5 times as an author, 1 time as an artist, for the BSFA Awards! The deadline for BSFA members to vote for the shortlist is Feb. 19. I am grateful to be nominated, and welcome votes for the shortlist! After the shortlist comes final voting. But one thing at a time. Read all about it:

Other News
Currently, I'm editing several stories as head of Stars and Sabers Publishing, as well as coordinating publications over the next two years and directing cover artists and illustrators. It's good work! (Note: we are NOT open to submissions at all right now, and we do not accept unsolicited submissions. Any sent will be deleted unread.)
I'm writing the sequel to The Vale of Seven Dragons, called Coursers of Wings and Flame, which will arrive in April 2027, a year after the first book. Several other stories are in the mix, both in long form and short, but this sequel takes priority, as it's contracted. I'll turn it in by the end of March.
And that wraps it up for now! It's a busy time, and will be an active year, but I'm rolling with it.
