I'm delighted to have Scarlett R. Algee as an editor again! She edited my other collection with Trepidatio, the award-nominated The Shadow Galaxy, which contains many tales from fantasy to science fiction to horror.
To Wonder and Starshine is a set of generally charming fantasy and science fiction stories that I've written. It should be a nice, soothing, adventurous little book for all of you. When preorders go live, I'll let you know!

I have new anthology announcements! Some you'll have heard of, but I'll refresh for those.
This summer, we have a magic-themed anthology called Of Enchantment, Enigma, and The Infinite, which I'll co-edit with Gareth L. Powell. The crowd-funding campaign and cover reveal for this book will happen via Indiegogo on March 1, and I'll share the cover across all social media and our imprint site! You'll recognize some of the returning names, and there will be new ones. There will be an extremely brief open submission call in April for this anthology.
In autumn, we have a horror-themed anthology called Of Dread, Decay, and Doom also. Cover art for this will begin in May. Same deal with some returning names and some new.
I am co-editing a romantasy anthology with bestselling author of The Last Raven, Helen Glynn Jones! This will be out in summer 2026 and is called Of Starlight and Roses. Read more:

Writing Updates
Okay, there is a BLIZZARD of activity right now! I'm finishing up the Applachian weird horror novella Godfestation, finally. I'm turning in the outline for my Choose Your Own Adventure book, Dungeon Crawl at the Haunted Mall. I'm awaiting edits on The Vale of Seven Dragons. And I've just got preliminary edit notes on The Secret of the Sapphire Sentinel, sequel to my Nebula and BSFA finalist book, The Inn at the Amethyst Lantern.
After all of these are finished, I'll be writing the second of the Vale of Seven Dragons saga, Coursers of Wings and Flame, and the prequel to The Inn at the Amethyst Lantern, called The Dawn of Dusk and Twilight. These will be written in the latter half of the year. I am going to try and finish a couple of back-burner titles to seek out a cross-genre literary agent with, meanwhile. I have some insider knowledge on what's hot at the moment, so I'm running with that, based on what's already in progress.
Four of my short stories are longlisted for BSFA Awards this year! If you are a voting member, I'd love to have your vote. We are in the final days for the SFWA Nebula Awards nominations as well. The Locus Magazine awards and Bram Stoker Awards are also other places to nominate my work.
