March 6 Updates

Dearest Gentle Nerd Readers (1 part Bridgerton, 1 part me),

I bring you good news! A dream come true, in fact. I've got Eric Shanower (Age of Bronze) for the cover artist and contributing writer for our Stars and Sabers anthology, Omniboz: Tales from the Land of Oz!

Cover reveal:

Women of the Weird West

Another cover reveal happened this week, for a book I've got a story in! This is edited by KC Grifant, and out via Brigid's Gate Press in June: Women of the Weird West:

Women of the Weird West
The Women of the Weird West anthology edited by KC Grifant from Brigids Gate Press publishes June 2026.

The story I wrote is called "The Stinger of Hellbinder Gulch" and it's one of the spookiest short stories I've ever written! It's an honor to be part of this book (that roster!!). KC and I are actually co-editing a Weird West anthology next year at Stars and Sabers. More on that later. Women of the Weird West should be up for preorder soon, so keep an eye out for it!

What Does Star Wars Mean to You? Podcast Interview

The wonderful folks at the podcast What Does Star Wars Mean to You? had me on the show recently, and you can listen to how Star Wars has impacted my life. A great interview!

One Month to The Vale of Seven Dragons!

We're just one month out to the release of my fantasy debut novel, The Vale of Seven Dragons! Publishing April 7. Preorder in hardcover, paperback, or ebook from your favorite bookseller. I'm writing the sequel now! Some suggested links:

The Vale of Seven Dragons is an epic fantasy novel by Nebula and BSFA award finalist author Jendia Gammon. This is the first book in a planned trilogy.

Event News Forthcoming

There are several events I'm part of this year, and I'm waiting on finalizations to share some of those details in my upcoming newsletters. Because there's a lot happening fast, you'll see at least one more from me this month; maybe two. That's unusual, because this Spring is full of fun, book-related things!

Writing Update

I'm writing like the wind to catch up to my book deadline for the second Vale of Seven Dragons trilogy book, Coursers of Wings and Flame. After that gets turned in, I will switch over to new, not-yet-contracted manuscripts. I actually have loads of those going back for years, and I'm going to start looking for publishing homes for them.

That's it for now! Thanks so much for following along.

Write on!
