Three fun options for SoCal this month; one's a book launch!
Happy October! This month is charging forth full throttle. Good: I need it! Here's what's going on for me in terms of events.
EVENTS
October 4, 2025 – Scream Diego – Handlery Hotel, San Diego, California –Reading: 11:00 AM (Tower). Panel: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – “Monsters Reimagined: From Classic Creatures to Modern Nightmares”. Signing: 1:30 PM — 2:00 PM (Foyer).
October 10, 2025 – Shamelessly Bad Poetry Night – Underdog Bookstore, Monrovia, California – 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. This is an event I pitched as being inspired by the film So I Married an Axe Murderer, and the idea is to come up with and recite some shamelessly bad poetry. I am pre-embarrassed.
October 25, 2025 – The Secret of the Sapphire Sentinel Book Launch - Underdog Bookstore, Monrovia, California – 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. I'll have double chocolate brownies and book swag on hand! Support independent bookstores!
BOOK RELEASE
The release date for The Secret of the Sapphire Sentinel is October 21! You still have time to read its award-nominated predecessor, The Inn at the Amethyst Lantern.
