One Week to ATACAMA!

My latest release, Atacama, comes out one week from today!

One Week to ATACAMA!

On May 13, 2025, my latest book arrives: ATACAMA!

This high concept thriller, with horror and science fiction elements, takes place in two very different parts of the world: southern Appalachia (specifically East Tennessee, where I'm from) and the Atacama Desert in Chile.

There are themes of grief, scientific research, corporate intrigue, otherworldly aspects, and some body horror. If you are a fan of The X-Files, The Twilight Zone, The Thing, Severance, Annihilation, and Black Mirror, this book is for you.

Some copies are already landing ahead of release, too, which is so exciting to see.

Preorder it from your favorite bookseller! And if you do get it, do please share pics! Cover art is by Chris Panatier, and 36 interior ink illustrations are by me. It's a gorgeous book, and I hope you love it!

This is a deeply personal exploration for me, and also gives a nod to my former research days. I sought the expertise of a NASA scientist for some particulars, and more insight from a Chilean ecologist as well. Many thanks to fellow author Tej Turner for providing some Atacama Desert photos for me to base some of the interior illustrations on. They are a mix of those, some abstract art, and some Appalachian nods. I hope you enjoy ATACAMA!

Ad astra,
Jendia
